Biography
Puneet Panchal is a distinguished risk and insurance professional with over 22 years of industry experience, including 19 years dedicated to corporate insurance and risk management. He currently leads the insurance function at Cube Highways, managing risk and insurance strategy for one of India’s largest road infrastructure portfolios with an asset base of over INR 55,000 crore. His expertise spans insurance program design and management, complex claims handling, M&A and business risk evaluation and mitigation.
Puneet has held regional leadership roles with global organizations like Andritz Hydro for 9 years, overseeing insurance operations across the Asia-Pacific region and on the insurer’s side with ICICI Lombard for 6 years in corporate sales, bringing a 360-degree view and a holistic perspective to risk management—having worked on both the sides.
Puneet is a RIMS-CRMP certified risk professional, holds Diploma in Business Administration, an Associate of the Insurance Institute of India, and an ESG certification from IIM Bangalore.
